In a recent BP chat with Maury Brown (who covers the business beat), he had this to say about the developing Josh Hamilton story:
This is a heck of a story to watch. He’s been given a new lease on life, and seems to have turned the corner with how he deals daily with his (hopefully) former drug use past.
It’s early on in the season. I think that the Reds are watching him closely, as I’m sure the rest of the baseball world is. If he remains clean and sober, on top of being the player that was thought of so highly to begin with in his career, Hamilton has a good chance to be the feel good story of ‘07.

Rob Neyer Chin Muzak turned internet-blogger. So is the who’s the boss star.
The Marlins needed to trade for Julio as much as the Rays needed to bring back the services of Lugo. Finally, they realizied this. A little to late though.
De Aza has some toughness as he has been hurting for a week before revealing it. I guess he did not want to be known as Wally Pipp.
Oliver Perez meltdown. Is anyone surprised?
