Clemens Legacy On the Line
I want to believe the guy. I took his interview with Mike Wallace as a bunch of softball questions. Either NcNamee is lying, or Clemens is. The thing about the Clemens interview is that some things did seem odd. One, saying he knew nothing about what was to be released in the Mitchell report. If he is the center of the report, I not sure I buy it entirely that he had no heads up about what was in the report. If he was clearly not a user, why not talk with Mitchell in his investigation. What does Brian McNamee have to gain by making these claims? The new name into the ring on this issue is Jim Murray. Also, all the sudden Andy and Roger are not buddies. They played togther first in the Bronx, then in Houston, and then again in for the Yankees again. Stay tuned as this story is not over.
